Show your partners you are serious about QC
This module has been built into Project Manager by the team from MultiPlot, an independant qc tool that has been the industry standard for offshore consultants serious about qc since 1990.
Not just a file visualiser
Although this system can give you some very attractive plots and interactive replays to visualise what’s going on behind the boat, it also verifies every aspect of the processing that goes into the generation of the P1. Does the water depth include the transducer depth? Has the datum transformation been correctly applied? Have the GPS antenna offsets been correctly entered? Do the receiver positions agree with the raw acoustic ranges? Do the receiver depths agree with the raw bird depths? Can we replicate the source position based on the raw rGPS on the gun strings? Our system gives you the piece of mind that all these checks are happening after every line.
The work flow
- The crew generates new QC files on the network drive after end of line.
- Project Manager detects the new files, and in one-click all new files are imported.
- New data is synced locally between on-board users and also shore-side.
- Traffic light condition sets are applied to all new attribute data, and high level reports on flagged attributes are available.
- Investigation of flagged issues can continue with displays of data in shot-by-shot charts and attribute colour grids. User comments and categorisation can be added to flagged attributes.
- Template reports or issue reports can be generated and distributed.
What files can you import?
- P1/11 and P2/11 from any navigation system. All available attributes are automatically generated based on the imported files, with no configuration required.
- Streamer RMS files containing channel noise and signal RMS windows. Used to analyse streamer noise, channel/section sensitivity, signal to noise ratios and source balance.
- Orca, TriNav, SPN csv files for any other attributes that are not included in your P1 and P2 files.
- Legacy P190 format files.
The distributed database
No more sharing of poorly scaled low- resolution plots. With a distributed database all users can access and manipulate the attribute data to generate the plot they want.
